For most chef-hosted live dinner parties, our team arrives approximately:
45–90 minutes before your scheduled start time
This allows us to set up, organize the kitchen, and begin cooking on-site so everything is served fresh and beautifully timed.
For drop-off style events, we typically arrive:
about 15 minutes before service
to get everything positioned, labeled, and presentation-ready.

3–4 hours total
This includes arrival, cooking, service, and cleanup.
Every event is unique, and timing may vary slightly depending on the style of experience.

Items such as:

are not included by default, but we are happy to coordinate them through our trusted rental partners.

Yes — a 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is charged to the card on file prior to your event.
This ensures your date, team, and ingredients are fully dedicated to your experience.

Yes — our team cleans the kitchen before we depart so that you can relax and enjoy your guests.
On some occasions, we may leave behind:
glassware
bar items
for guests who are still enjoying beverages or conversation. These items can be rinsed and collected later as needed.

Tastify is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and we serve Nashville and the surrounding counties throughout Middle Tennessee.
Events located beyond 30 miles from our shop may incur a mileage fee to account for additional travel time and staffing logistics. If you’re unsure whether your location qualifies, we’re happy to confirm during booking.

Yes — many of our clients book Tastify for Airbnb and vacation rental dinner parties, celebrations, and private chef experiences.
We simply ask that:
the kitchen includes standard working appliances
there is adequate counter space & cookware
the host allows private chef services on-site
If anything is missing, we can bring select equipment or rental items as needed.

Yes — to support our hospitality team and ensure a smooth event experience, we apply:
20% automatic gratuity on all parties
5-12% service fee on the event subtotal (based on commissions paid)

Yes — for most chef-hosted live events and in-home dinner parties, we require a $600 event minimum.
This helps us staff appropriately, source premium ingredients, and deliver the elevated style of private dining Tastify is known for.
Drop-off and small-format services may have different minimums depending on the style of event.
