The Chef and Owner: Tyler King

I am a Saint Louis native who made the move to Nashville in 2014. I pursued my degree in Entrepreneurial Studies from Belmont University and have since gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry. My career has involved working in various restaurants and corporate food service companies, with a focus on executing large corporate catering events and intimate dinners from both front and back of house perspectives.

In 2018, I founded Tastify out of frustration with the corporate red tape and mistreatment of employees within the industry, which was out of control.

Today, I remain actively involved in Tastify, ensuring close management oversight over every food item and detail for each event. While I may not be present at every event, I take great pride in maintaining a high level of involvement and attention to detail.
